I am also pretty new to iSCSI. Unless you use some type of round-robin load balancing policy, LACP isn't going to do much for you unless there are multiple traffic flows. Most iSCSI targets will support multipathing at the application layer, which you can use even with unmanaged switches. The primary benefit of jumbo frames is reduced CPU utilization, which isn't a big deal on gigabit networks these days unless you have really old equipment.

That being said, it will give you some efficiency gains from reduced overhead, so you may want to test it.

To put a finer point on ewwhite's comment, link aggregation requires cooperation from both sides, so you'll need a managed switch to do this. And "higher throughput and load balancing" to what?
