If you're wondering how to do the Division 2 shock Roach task, then you've come to the right place. The game doesn't really explain what it means, just that you need to "shock Roach twice". No, it's nothing to do with Geralt's horse. If you're wondering how to shock Roach twice in The Division 2, let us explain all we know about the Division 2 shock Roach objective, and all the other Division 2 Gunner Field Research tasks. In order to shock Roach twice, you need to replay the Bank Headquarters mission on Normal difficulty or higher.
The Division 2 Specializations guide: all signature weapons and skill trees
By "shock Roach", it means you need to acquire shock ammo and shoot Roach with it twice before killing him. Roach is the final boss in the Bank Headquarters mission, but where can you find shock ammo? Thankfully, shock ammo is in the very middle of the room you fight Roach in, near the metal railings.
We'd recommend loading the shock ammo into your pistol then shooting him once, waiting for the shock effect to wear off, then doing it again. After you shock Roach twice though, you're nowhere near finished. There's five sets of objectives you need to complete, each with four tasks. You only need to do these if you don't own the Division 2 Year One Pass though, so if you do, you should have access to Gunner right away. Here's the full set of Division 2 Gunner tasks:.

Bounties only become available after you recruit Otis Sykes by completing two of the main missions for the Campus Settlement for more information on unlocking each of the different staff members, check out our dedicated The Division 2 staff guide.
This Bounty system completely replaces the High Value Target system employed in The Division 1, and unlike in The Division 1 if you fail a Bounty mission then you will still get a chance to try it again — but the enemy will relocate and deploy extra protective measures to defend themselves from the attack they now know is coming.
Bounty targets are powerful Elite enemies that act like Division agents in that they can utilise certain perks and skills available to players. Bounties become even more important and dangerous in the Endgame, with more powerful enemies that earn you even greater rewards. Control Points are perhaps the most important of all world events in The Division 2, for several reasons. This, in addition to the unlocking of a Supply Room which usually grants some excellent weapons and gear, along with the ability to contribute resources to further the goals of the Resistance.
Begin the objective either by attacking the enemies there or by calling nearby allies which will attract the attention of all nearby enemies as you shoot a flare up into the sky. You can also speak to the main officer of the NPC allies that came to your aid in order to deliver resources to the Control Point. Contaminated Zones are marked by a red biohazard icon — not to be confused with the purple biohazard icons of the various The Division 2 Dark Zone areas.
The entrances to these Contaminated Zones can be quite cleverly hidden away, requiring you to do some searching around the general vicinity to figure out how to get into the area itself. Propaganda broadcasts are dotted all about Washington D. These tasks are usually not very difficult either. You must then approach where the broadcast is being controlled, and interact with it to start shutting it down.
Doing so will display a progress bar that fills up in steps, with further waves of enemies approaching between each step. These enemies will usually emerge from different directions, so be sure to reposition yourself with each wave to ensure you are incapable of being flanked. After each wave is defeated, you must return to the broadcast and continue the process of shutting it down.
After iterations, the Propaganda Broadcast will be shut down and the mission completed. Public Executions are unfortunately happening all over the place in The Division 2. Speed is necessary in completing this task to the best of your ability, because the enemies will usually have captured multiple NPC allies, and the rewards you gain depends on how many of the hostages you manage to keep alive. The moment you emerge to disrupt the execution, the hostages will attempt to fight with you, which somewhat of a mixed blessing as they can get themselves killed quite easily when left to their own devices.
Aim to take out the first group of enemies the ones actually doing the executing as quickly as possible, taking advantage of their obliviousness to your presence to kill them off before they have a chance to duck behind cover. Your task with these activities is to battle through enemies to reach the area where the hostages are being held. Rescue Operations tend to be a little more tricky and numerous in enemy forces than Public Executions, but still not on the same level as a Control Point. The Division 2 - "SHOCKING ROACH" FIELD RESEARCH GUNNER WALKTHROUGH
Both types require your attention at times — friendly convoys can come under attack, requiring you to help defend the Resistance forces against 2 or 3 waves of enemies. Enemy convoys, however, are up to you to take over, by defeating all the enemies escorting the convoy. Supply Drops are an interesting departure from regular world events and activities in The Division 2, mostly because of how the enemy forces behave with this activity.
One of these reinforcements is holding a key on their person that will drop when you kill them. This key allows you to unlock a supply chest that can usually be found in the centre of the Territory Control area. Now you can go out and free-roam the streets of Washington D.The Division 2 Title Update 6 is officially live as version 1.

At the beginning of Episode 2, players will investigate a transmission from a fellow Agent scouting the Pentagon for the perfusion bioreactor.
Securing the bioreactor would allow Agents to replicate the antiviral samples recovered at Tidal Basin. Agents will discover the location of the perfusion bioreactor inside the Pentagon's underground research facility. The Black Tusk have already infiltrated the lab and are attempting to extract the reactor. In a race again time, players must make their way through the Pentagon and into the DARPA Labs, as the Black Tusk are in the process of transporting the perfusion bioreactor through an abandoned Cold War tunnel network.
The Technician is our fifth Specialization and is equipped with a P Launcher, which fires six missiles to seek out enemies. It is a support Agent, which can boost both its own and others' skills with its variant of the Hive, Artificer. Outcasts have been moving weapons and supplies into a boathouse on the Potomac River. The boathouse was used as a transport depot during the outbreak to move assets to the Potomac Center and Roosevelt Island. Agents must investigate and seize all the weapons they can find.
Agents will be tasked to locate the helicopter to rescue the pilot and secure the supplies before the Outcasts get there.
Wharf joins the existing rotation of Conflict maps, adding a new location of an abandoned fishing harbor.
The location itself offering raised vantage points and multiple flanking routes. Team Elimination: Team Elimination is the third game mode of Conflict, placing players in seven fast paced rounds. The perma-death for each round is encouraging players to work together to ensure victory but also offering great comeback opportunities. Skills have been individually tuned for PVP. Any value adjustments will be displayed in the skill information panel.
Developer Notes : Similar to what was outlined above, generous skill haste from gear and the addition of the exotic BTSU gloves meant players could achieve both very frequent and very long blind durations on NPCs. We like seeing powerful combinations of skills being used together and want to encourage clever use of game mechanics, especially in terms of group synergy, but it should come at the cost of investing in highly specialized gear.
With these changes, it is still possible to achieve a 10s or lower cooldown on both the Blinder Firefly and Cluster Seeker Mines, however it will require a more significant investment in Skill Haste to achieve such a powerful force-multiplier. Developer Notes : We've seen an overall positive reception from the community in regard to the improvements to skills and skill haste in TU5, and it's been great to see players theory crafting and using their new and improved builds.
With skill-based builds becoming more and more common at the end-game however, it was clear that some combination of skills had become overly disruptive to the intended experience. In particular, the generous increase to skill haste on gear coupled with the reduced base cooldown of Cluster Seekers meant achieving a very short cooldown was relatively easy.
While we're happy with the damage output of the Cluster Seeker itself, the skill does more than just blow things up, as it effectively causes NPCs to panic; frequently flushing them out of or away from cover, leading to even more damage received. For this reason, the Cluster Seeker can be seen as a significant force multiplier, especially in group content.
Because encounter balance and cadence is important for creating not just challenging combat, but a satisfying overall experience, we felt it necessary to increase the cooldown of Cluster Seekers to 60s still remaining 30s shorter than its TU4 counterpart and lower the number of mines deployed by 1, while giving it a boost in damage to compensate; ensuring it remains your best choice when it comes to eliminating multiple spread-out targets at once.
The increase in damage and the addition of the Bleed status effect to the Explosive Seeker Mine should also increase its attractiveness and make choosing between it and the Cluster variant a more meaningful choice. All Basic Gear Talents are changing to be "Unique Equip", meaning they will not stack with duplicates of themselves on other pieces of gear. This means players will have to compose builds of unique talent combinations instead of stacking one talent on all pieces.
To compensate for this, all of the basic talents have gotten boosts to their power level. The patch notes are incredibly extensive, which makes them hard to boil down in a few paragraphs. That being said, despite the long wait for Title Update 6, the Division 's developers at Ubisoft have gone to great lengths to make sure the latest update is worth it. New quests, missions and modes across all facets of the game essentially mandate new players return to DC, and the grind for a new Specialization unlock makes those new Activities worth trying.
Those without a Season Pass will have to wait a bit to see what Title Update 6 truly has to offer, but even the basic-tier changes are big.Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is an online action role-playing video game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It received generally favorable reviews from critics, with most noting it as an improvement over the first installment. Played from a third-person perspectivethe game is a cover-based third-person shooter with up to four players being able to complete missions together.
These weapons are classified into different tiers and rarity. High-quality guns are difficult to obtain, but they have better weapon stats and "talents" that further help boost players' performance.

Wearing gear from the same brand gives players a small performance boost. Each skill has unique mods that change its functionality.
The actions of individual members of a clan contribute to clan XP, which can be used to upgrade the clan for additional gameplay benefits. Washington D. Players can recruit non-playable characters by completing missions and providing supplies to different settlements. Recruiting them unlocks new features, including projects, which are fetch quests that reward players with gear, XP, and blueprints for crafting, which can be accessed in the base of operation, the White House. Upgrading settlements enables their expansion to include more facilities and gives players gameplay benefits such as access to their gear stash or fast travel.
Finding them grants players SHD tech cache points, which can be used to unlock new perks that further enhance players' combat performance as well as granting advantages such as XP bonuses. They can sell trinkets, which are unusable junk items that players had collected, and unwanted gear to them in order to earn E-credits, the game's currency which can used to purchase new weapons, crafting and resetting appearances.
The Division 2 features three Dark Zones, each of which supports up to 12 players. Dark Zones are areas in which players defeat tough enemies for valuable and rare loot, though the loot can be taken by other players. Upon entering a Dark Zone, players' gear become normalized to ensure that all players are in a level playing field.
Non-contaminated loot belong to players once they are collected, but contaminated loot need to be extracted by a helicopter and players need to defend the extraction point from AI enemies and other players. Rogue players can attack other players in the same session to steal their loot and gain XP.
Once they eliminate another player, they become "disavowed", which alerts other non-rogue players. If the disavowed rogue eliminate more players, they became Manhunt Rogue in which players who kill the rogue agent will receive a huge bounty. DZ XP, which are earned by killing enemies and rogues, and can be used to unlock perks and gameplay advantages like a reduced rogue timer.
When a player reaches level 30 and finishes the game's campaign, the game-world is divided into 'world tiers', which serve as different chapters and thresholds for further increasing the game's difficulty. Levels are replaced by Gear Score, which is calculated based on the stats, attributes, and talents of all the weapons and armor players have. In the endgame, a new enemy faction named the Black Tusk retakes all the control points players had previously liberated.
By completing Invaded missions and having sufficient Gear Score, players can then liberate a stronghold, which would then allow players to unlock the next world tier. Each specialization has its own signature weapon; a Survivalist with a crossbowa Sharpshooter with a TAC Anti-materiel sniper rifle and a Demolitionist with a M32A1 grenade launcher.
The Division 2 is set after the events depicted in Tom Clancy's The Divisionin a world devastated by Green Poison, a potent strain of smallpox engineered and released in New York City by an environmental terrorist.
Green Poison became a pandemic, resulting in casualties and chaos on a global scale. Facing imminent social collapse, the United States government activated a contingent of domestic sleeper agents called the Strategic Homeland Division SHDor simply "The Division", to preserve order and continuity of government. Division agents leverage advanced technology and wide autonomy to deal with threats as they see fit.
They are supplemented on the field with an advanced A. By the beginning of The Division 2most government and military personnel have evacuated Washington D.

However, most of Washington D.The Rioters are gangs of common thugs and delinquents that just want to rob and even kill others to ensure their own survival.
Many know they can kill but will use that as a final option, but some will pull the trigger first. They are one of the main enemy factions in Tom Clancy's The Division. While Rioters do not have a set in stone hierarchy, each gang follows a certain leader. Such examples being Hutch or Five-O possibly may just be a boss or a squad-like leader, basically tougher versions of peon Rioters as well as a few more leaders.
They usually carry bigger and heavier weapons than their lower ranking members and tend to have armor, with the weapon of choice for most of them seems to be light machine guns and marksman rifles.
Beyond the organized factions roam thugs and outlaws that now rampage through the city, rioting, looting, and assaulting any who come near them. Unafraid to wound or kill, they survive by preying on the weak. They roam in packs, hunting down easy targets and lashing out at authorities when they get the chance. Volatile and dangerous, they are a constant thorn in the side of the JTF and a steady drain on resources.
Rioters in general see the J.
Although skirmishes do occur they have been known to engage in trading with Rikersnamely weapons, however seem to distrust one another. Rioters outright fear the Last Man Battalion. I wanted to finish up the seasonal manhunt I started earlier this week, and keep farming out a number of my sets.
I wrote about a skill build earlier this week that I found to be a lot of fun, and under the new system, I am enjoying just messing around with these builds in general. I will not claim to have the top-tier, max optimized builds in the game, but if you are just coming back to it like I am, I think there are some fun builds you should try out. Alternatively, you can scrap that and go Survivalist, and get the heal mine to follow you around.
But I like Banshee. The core of the build is the shield, which scales based on your armor pieces that focus on armor. Weapons: The Sweet Dreams exotic shotgun is the core of this build.Cistern lid
I got this to drop from an Outcast mission boss on Challenging. My secondary is a high crit SMG. Strategy : The idea here is that you run around with your shield, blast enemies with the Banshee pulse, assassinate the disoriented ones with your Sweet Dreams, then hammer elites and bosses with your shotgun and SMG.
